What Is Text Replacement?
Text replacement allows you to create shortcuts that automatically expand into longer words or phrases.
For example, I am a Park Lane stylist. Instead of typing “Park Lane” over and over again, I simply type:
PL
and my phone automatically replaces it with:
Park Lane
Why This Matters
This may seem like a small thing, but small automations add up.
Every time you avoid typing something manually, you save a few seconds. Over the course of a week, month, or year, those seconds become minutes and hours.
More importantly, it reduces friction and makes your day easier.
