If you’ve ever said:
- “I’m not a tech person.”
- “Technology overwhelms me.”
- “I wish someone would explain this in plain English.”
This 50-second video explains exactly why I created Tech Confidence with Karrie.

For years, I’ve loved technology.
Not because I’m fascinated by software or because I enjoy learning the latest tools.
What I love is what technology makes possible.
Throughout my career, I’ve spent years working with automation, systems, and technology. Along the way, I’ve also taught fellow entrepreneurs how to use tools like Canva, automation platforms, content scheduling tools, and AI.
And over and over again, I noticed something.
The biggest obstacle wasn’t the technology itself.
It was confidence.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard someone say:
“I’m not a tech person.”
“Technology overwhelms me.”
“I’m afraid I’ll break something.”
“I wish someone would just explain it in plain English.”
Maybe you’ve said some of those things yourself.
The truth is, most people aren’t struggling because they lack intelligence.
They’re struggling because nobody has shown them technology in a way that feels approachable and achievable.
That’s where my passion lives.
The Moment Everything Clicked
For a long time, I thought my passion was teaching technology.
But recently I realized something important.
My real passion isn’t technology at all.
My passion is helping people gain confidence.
I love watching someone go from:
“I can’t do this.”
to
“Wait… that was easier than I thought.”
I love seeing someone who was intimidated by a new tool become comfortable using it.
I love helping people become self-sufficient.
There is something incredibly rewarding about watching someone stop relying on others and start believing in their own ability to learn.
That’s why I created Tech Confidence with Karrie.
Technology Should Empower People, Not Intimidate Them
We live in a world where new technology appears almost daily.
AI.
Automation.
New apps.
New platforms.
New systems.
It’s easy to feel overwhelmed.
But here’s what I’ve learned:
You don’t need to understand everything.
You don’t need to master every tool.
And you certainly don’t need to become a programmer.
You simply need the confidence to take the next step.
Technology is a skill.
Not a personality trait.
Nobody is born knowing how to use Canva, ChatGPT, Zapier, or any other tool.
We all learn one step at a time.
Why I Love Automation
One of the biggest misconceptions about automation is that it’s about replacing people.
I don’t believe that.
In fact, I believe the exact opposite.
Technology should create more time for people.
The reason I love automation isn’t because it eliminates work.
It’s because it creates space for the work that matters most.
When technology handles repetitive tasks, we gain more time to:
- Build relationships
- Serve customers
- Support our teams
- Spend time with family
- Focus on meaningful work
Technology should support human connection, not replace it.
That’s a philosophy you’ll hear me talk about often.
My Mission
My mission is simple:
I help non-tech entrepreneurs gain confidence with technology so they can save time, reduce overwhelm, and focus on what they do best.
Whether we’re talking about:
- Automation
- AI
- Canva
- Productivity tools
- Content systems
- Workflows
My goal is always the same:
To make technology feel approachable, practical, and useful.
Because technology doesn’t have to be scary.
And you don’t have to be a tech person to use it confidently.
