Voice-to-text isn’t perfect

Let’s be honest. Voice-to-text occasionally gets words wrong, changes names, and creates some pretty entertaining mistakes.

But even with those little hiccups, it’s still one of the biggest productivity boosts available.

I’d rather spend a few seconds correcting mistakes than spend thirty minutes typing everything from scratch.

Places you can find voice-to-text tools

Many tools already include built-in voice features, including:

  • Microsoft Word
  • ChatGPT
  • Google Docs
  • Your smartphone

There’s a good chance the feature is already available on a device you use every day.

Why it matters

Most of us can speak much faster than we can type.

By using voice-to-text tools, you can capture ideas more quickly, create content more efficiently, and spend less time staring at a blank screen.

Your fingers deserve the break.
